A trip to a local Farmers Market is a great way for visitors to experience all that Hawai‘i has to offer. Not only will you find a bountiful harvest of exotic fruits of rambutan, mango, and breadfruit or common vegetables such as carrots and onions, but will also discover the cultural diversity of the islands which makes Hawai‘i so special.

In addition to fresh produce, a variety of other agricultural products are available including beautiful florals and potted plants. Locally raised beef, pork, poultry, aqua-cultured seafood, and ready-to-eat food options are also available. Farmers Markets are also a great place to pick up handmade art & crafts and unique gifts, hear live music, and experience artisan demonstrations. Fun activities for keiki (children) make a trip to the Farmers Market a fun day for the whole family, and a great group activity option.
