November “Tips From Tats” – Safe Travels Hawai’i Program

In an effort to keep its community and visitors safe, the State of Hawai‘i has implemented a multilayer Safe Travels Hawai‘i Program.

All visitors and returning residents must register on www.travel.hawaii.gov and upload their travel information. Those 18 years and older must register for their own account. Minors 17 years old and under may be added to an adult’s account as an accompanying traveler. Registering on the site can be done in advance prior to confirming travel reservations. Once airline and hotel accommodations have been confirmed, travelers should upload this information on to the site.

An email will be sent 24-hours prior to departure prompting travelers to complete the mandatory State of Hawai‘i Travel and Health Form in the form of a questionnaire. A QR code will be emailed to the traveler once this has been completed. The QR code will be scanned at verification stations upon travelers’ arrival to Hawai‘i for a more expedited experience.

Complete your Hawai‘i Safe Travels registration and upload your information online before arrival.

Be sure to bring your face mask.

Safe travels and we’ll see you soon!
